Flea Natural Treatment

Flea Natural Treatment

As I mentioned before, you have to look at a flea treatment in a wide perspective. It does not focus only at the dog treatment – It is a whole treatment which aims at the dogs’ environment, outside and inside the house.
Here are some methods to avoid fleas with a natural treatment:
Apple vinegar: The Simplest method and very recommended.
Take a tablespoon of apple vinegar and mix it with 1 liter of water – Let your dog drink it at the flea season, (You can also put vinegar on your dog’s food).
Try to begin with a few drops to let your dog accustom.
It is simple and it is a whole flea natural treatment.
Another way to use a flea natural treatment is: Garlic!
Garlic cloves should be given every 2-3 days: 1 garlic clove for a big dog, 1/2 clove to a medium size dog and a 1/4 to a small dog. (Do not give your dog more than that – it may cause a serious damage. Smash the garlic cloves and sprinkle it on top of the dog food. Another way is to cut the garlic clove into very small pieces and to put it deep inside your dogs and let him swallow it.
Fleas does not like Both, Garlic and vinegar, so they will try to pick another pet at the area.
Once choosing the flea natural treatment, you’ll have to adopt the same wide approach: in fact, this is the main idea behind the flea natural treatment.
The first step is to improve your dogs’ health – Healthier dogs may suffer much less from fleas. Keep feeding your dog with healthy food that contains ingredients like garlic, vitamin B. Give your dog love and supporting environment (It is very important that your dog won’t suffer from stress – fleas like it).
Keep your dog clean – As part of the flea natural treatment, it is crucial to brush your dog daily with a special flea comb.
When shampooing your dog, begin with the head and the neck – Make a thick layer of soap foam all over the dogs’ body and don’t forget to use herbal shampoo.
Don’t forget to clean and to vacuum in-house, especially around your dogs place and keep throwing away the vacuums bag.
Be aware that most of the fleas located outside, at the yard – Cut the grass, flood the dogs’ area, Collect any fallen leaves. Spray the area with a natural and friendly environmental products only (This will protect your family, your dog and the environment).
Looking for another ways of flea natural treatment? Here is an interesting kind of flea spray I read about – A DIY flea spray:
Take citrus peels and mix it in a blender with water, Rosemary and few garlic cloves. Boil for about 10-20 minutes and then strain it. Leave the liquid to cool down and afterwards fill a spray bottle with it – that’s it. You can use this flea spray everywhere and on your dog as well.
Using a flea natural treatment not only protect your family and your pet but also protect the environment!
